Hi,
First of all, congratulations on your work its impressive and quite motivational to do better ourselves...
I have a question you might be able to answer, are convertibles allowed on the nurburgring? is so, are there some restrictions? (I'm thinking of taking a trip there next summer but only if I can take a few laps)
And as many others, I'm wondering if the splitter worked and if you increased stability and/or speed and by what measure?

Yes, convertables are allowed, in fact: All cars are allowed that have a valid registration, inspection (if applicable in your country) and insurance. In short: if it is streetlegal, its allowed. German street regulations are valid in general during ' Touristenfahren', which means things like 'only overtaking on left side allowed'.
Last 12th november was a (private) trackday, so all non-road legal cars were allowed as well.
Yes, the splitter really works, otherwise I would not run it anymore after the first trial runs at home. I can feel it. How did you want to quantify by how much it works? ...exactly, impossible without a windtunnel (I don't have one in my back yard anyways

), but you can watch the youtube video op page 15 of this topic where I run digitally measured 220 km/h with the splitter on the Autobahn and see for yourself how stable it is

Salut walter,
les 220km/h tu les as fait avec moins de 403 cv. As tu essayé depuis?
220KM/h est ton maximum car :
- j'aimais eu l'occase d'aller plus loin?
- ou aérodynamiquement cela est trop dur?

Hi,
Thank you for your reply, I now only have to plan the trip...
as for the splitter, I meant is there a corner you know you go through at 110Km/h and now can pass at 130km/h... its not a science but I use a few known areas to see the difference when I update things on my car... Good to know it works, I was thinking of a similar setup, mostly for protection but better handling is also a good excuse...

I hear you, but I have not done that much laps on any track to say that for sure, sorry...

Non, le Autobahn run etait a 'low-boost'
Le 'maximum'?: non, mais je ne sais pas que'est ce... surement c'est plus de 220km/h mais j'ai va peur apres

Le 220 de video c'est etait 5800-5900 Rpm en 5th avec le G50 transmission (vois youtube vid)... mais dans cette grafic ici de mon moteur et transmission:

Je n'est sais pas, mais c'etait tres vite

The current 'record' is 130 hp turbocharged. I am shooting for 150-180
