Dyno day last week, resultat: 396 Wheel hp = ~ 450-460 crank-hp! a 6800 RPM and still climbing...
Il y etait tres chaud cette jour: 30 Celcius! Boost: 1,6 bar
Merci!
To utilise the power, a limited slip differential proved to be a good idea.
Diff taken out:
Left is the original but used 996 GT2/GT3 Porsche Motorsport 4-plate LSD, with now GT friction plates, which I am very happy with! Bearings and spacers put over to the 'new' diff with new but a bit longer bolts to bolt it to my old crown wheel
Prochain dimanche, neuf 'track day' for the TimeAttack series I participate in with the 1303
450 hp...
Just in move pressure of turbo ? You drive with this pressure or just for this event ?
The temp of engine is correct on the highway ? What is engine's ratio ?
Bigger turbine = less back-pressure = better (EGT) temperatures but also more lag of course.
I can not use that power on the street or track because of traction problems, but 375-400 hp is what I use on the track and is usable (see youtube vids posted earlier for that). High boost (450-460 hp) only for drag racing, but have not been able to use it yet.
You only know what is the limit is when you break it...and I don't really want to do that at the moment
Yes, temperatures are fine, otherwise the engine would be broken already right?
