But a rod broke @ 6000 rpm last week at a circuit/track day and destroyed the engine internals totally..
The car did a extremely good lap time before tho.

Alors, le projet 2,7 est terminé definitivement

J'ai vu des photos des poussoirs céramiques, ils sont en morceaux, vraiment dommage aussi pour les cylindres alu!

But yes, on a positive note, Florian and germanbuilder are correct: the next one will be stronger.

Unfortunately, in the meanwhile, two non-obtainable ceramic lifters, the oettinger 80mm crank and the oettinger 103mm nikasil cylinders are all broken.

Maybe, very maybe, the cylinders may be re-used with a very small stroke (66mm perhaps) and a short skirt, high piston-pinned piston..

the word "exploded" get all its sense when we see these pictures...
