Thanks again for the comments, guys!
Time for an update:
Wiring is almost finished now. It took much time to deal with all the custom and added wiring. I also added a serial communications cable from the MS computer to the dashboard, so I can plug the laptop-cable into the dashboard now.
This cable is also used for the Megasquirt Megaview Display.
More progress:
» mounted the front-window
» LED turnsignals behind the claxongrills
» re-chromed the headlamprings
» 914 gauges equipped with new fittings, lightbulbs, connectors and chrome- and paintlayer
» mounted the bumperbrackets (I do already have one RVS bumper at the moment, the other one is coming)
» mounted the gastank
» disassembled the automat-starter for some machine work nessecary for mounting it to the 914 transmission
» did some preperations for the 1303 blower
» bought an Ahnendorp Road Racing exhaust
» ...and several other small and time-consuming things...

Not much..
Mounted the engine in order to be able to test the fitment of the exhaust. It's a tight fit, but works well. Ofcourse I did make a testdrive and I can say you: even with a stock 1600 it is really fast without the mass of the doors, interior, etc..! It's a little cold though..
This week I'm busy with some exams at school, but in the two weeks that follow I will try make enough progress to get the car fully street-legal.
7" & 8.5" does fit nice under stock wings:

Oh yeah!
