Re: 1303 Mythbuster -> 2,2 ltr T4Turbo version 2.0
It's already a nice looking engine!
You timed the cam to the camcard specs or your own specs?
It took me a long time to get the geometry correct with these rockers and 15mm lift.

Yes, for now I timed it to reflect the cam card as close as possible. I can always change something lateron if I don't like the powerband.
Oh? I had no problem with the valve geometry on these heads and the Pauter rockers: lift was exactly as it should be (15,68mm). With the roller tips its also less critical I think

Re: 1303 Mythbuster -> 2,2 ltr T4Turbo version 2.0
Weirdly enough, I got a lot more duration because the valve opened avaragely 8 degrees sooner and closed 8 degrees later. Although the cam card says the values are measured with the Pauter 1,48 rockers, they seemed to be for less rocker ratio or.. they were meant for measuring at the cam, not the valve... Anyways, I set the timing so both valves measured the same (the 8 degrees) deviation. That was also just a touch from the center point of the slots in the adjustable cam gear, so that gave some added confidenceBenoit a écrit :Nice! Did you got the results you were looking for?

Does your oil temp sensor see any oil with your dry sump?
Are you going to use an off the shelf exhaust or a home made?

Re: 1303 Mythbuster -> 2,2 ltr T4Turbo version 2.0
Yes,but that sensor is just for the analogie gauge. There is always some oil in the sump and the engine ecu uses another oil temp sensor which will be under in the head. I ran like that for years with the former engine(s)Superflo a écrit :Does your oil temp sensor see any oil with your dry sump?

That is part you see in the pic is of an off-the shelf exhaust (from VWSpeedshop.uk.co his system 9 version). Needs a little modification here and there probably. I haven't test fitted the rest of the exhaust yet.Are you going to use an off the shelf exhaust or a home made?
