Flange Instructions
The Flanges are made in the USA and as such are imperial
I.E. drilled for 3/8 UNF bolts.
All joints in the UK are metric 10mm.
Please run a 10mm clearance drill through the holes in the flanges prior to assembly.
Also do not use washers on the bolts – locktite them.
We use super glue and metal ties or lockwire to retain the boot on the flange.

Also please check driveshaft travel clearance prior to assembly with the flange bolted to the CV but without the boot. This allows you to observe driveshaft plunge.
If boots are superglued to flanges you will be unable to do this.

Avec ce genre de chose c'est encore un truc a se faire "chier"!!!!

Not a big deal but I didn't see that text before I fitted mine. One needed the holes drilling with a 10mm drill, the other one did not. I didn't use any washers or loctite, just a good torque.. They are quite thick machined parts..

The flange for the rubber boot is on the large side so a bit tricky to get the original boots stretched on, the aftermarket silicone boots are probably much easier to fit.

j en ai acheter quelques uns au debut,mais plus apres,ici je l ai lu direct dans mon shop de pieces vw qui vends aussi les revues,c est cool d avoir un project francais dans un livre francais
